Modi in Bhutan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reached Bhutan for a two-day visit to the country. He was Modi was received by his Bhutanese counterpart Dr Lotay Tshering and others on his arrival at the Paro International Airport. ' Reached Bhutan a short while ago, marking the start of an important visit. I am extremely grateful to @PMBhutan for welcoming me at the airport. His gesture is deeply touching'.

After reaching Bhutan, PM Modi tweeted that he was extremely grateful to the Bhutanese PM for welcoming him at the airport and called Tshering's gesture deeply touching. Tshering tweeted later that he was touched to see Modi "acknowledging and responding to all the students, teachers and villagers greeting him on his way to Thimphu".
