Modi announces trust for constructing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Wednesday the foundation of ' Shri Ram Janambhoomi Tirath Kshetra, ' which would oversee the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, almost three months after the verdict of the Supreme Court in the years and years-old case.

"We have prepared a plan for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. A trust has been created, named ' Shri Ram Janambhoomi Tirath Kshetra, '" said the Prime Minister in Lok Sabha.

The Supreme Court's five-member court decided unanimously in favor of the Ram Temple in November. It was said that the entire disputed land, spread over 2,7 acres, would be handed over to the Ram Temple and asked the government to give five acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board in Ayodhya for the construction of a mosque.
