It’s been a long time; Mani Ratnam had been merely a producer for his home banner Madras Talkies letting others to direct it. His close associate Dhana Sekaran is now directing the film ‘Vaanam Kottattum’, which is co-written and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film has Sarathkumar and Radhika Sarathkumar sharing the screen space together after 20 years. Both of them will be seen as parents of Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Rajesh. While Madonna Sebastian will be seen playing the role of Vikram Prabhu’s love interest, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Aishwarya will be romancing.
Speaking about the film, director Dhana of ‘Padai Veeran’ fame says the film is almost like three parallel love stories, which is actually based on the premise of how society immediately starts offending an entire family for a mistake committed by one of the members.
