Actor Madhavan is making his directorial debut with the film ‘Rocketry’, which is based on the life of ISRO cryogenic scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was accused of being a spy, got jailed and later was proved innocent. Initially, Anant Mahadevan was supposed to direct the film, but he moved out of the project owing to some reasons, which gave way for Maddy to pull up the socks as filmmaker.
While Simran will be playing Madhavan’s spouse, it is now confirmed that Vijay TV fame Jagan, who later made his appearances in movies like Anegan, Kavan and Ayan will be playing a scientist in this movie. The portions involving him were shot in Bulgaria.
