After a crane collapses in Indian-2 shooting spot, 3 lost their life and 9 people got injured in the crash. Kamal Haasan, Kajal Agarwal and director Shankar escaped from crash.
Reagarding this, precautions are being taken in the shooting of other actors following the Indian-2 accident.
The strength of the stadiums set for the shoot is being tested. Security equipment, including fire equipment, is placed near the shooting. The actors safely take footage of the rope-fighting.
Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekaran, SJ Suriya and other professional artists including Cameraman, Director, Assistant Directors and the film's producer Suresh Kamakshi have insured them for 30 crores.
The insurance premium for this purpose with GST is said to be paid for Rs.7.8 lakh along with taxes. Venkat Prabhu is directing the Maanaadu film. The shooting is ongoing.The halls are also set to film major scenes on the VGP Golden beach. They are planning to bring the film to the screen inthe month of August, 2020.
