The candidates for the two-stage Rural Local Government elections in Tamil Nadu have been sworn in as the President of the Union Committee of the 27 districts on the 6th.
On behalf of the AIADMK, 14 people have won the post of district panchayat leader. The DMK has won 12 seats. Of the 314 union leaders, 150 seats have been secured by the AIADMK and 136 seats by DMK.
