Few years ago, there was an inevitable clash between filmmakers Bharathiraja and Bala over the theatrical rights of ‘Kuttra Parambarai’ book that was penned by Vela Ramamoorthy. In fact, both got indulged in open war and there were lots of aggressive talks at public events as well. And now, it looks like veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja has won the game in a style, where he would be making this as a web-series. It will be produced by none other than Suresh Kamatchi, who is currently producing Venkat Prabhu’s Maanadu starring STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles. However, we need to wait and watch whether Bala will be going for full feature film version.
