On Thursday, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clashed in the 6th match of the 13th season of the IPL 2020 match, at the Dubai International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In the match, Kings XI Punjab captain and the opening batsman KL Rahul was unbeaten on 132 and became the fastest Indian batsman to reach 2000 IPL runs.
KL Rahul crossed the 2,000 marks during the league stage match on Thursday (September 24). He took 60 innings to score 2000 runs.
It is noteworthy to mention that Sachin Tendulkar became the first Indian batsman to cross the 2000 runs in 63 innings.
