Sasikumar-Bharathiraja starrer Kennedy Club was initially slated for release on August 15 for the occasion of Independence Day. However, the release has been postponed on the spur of moment by the team and it will be hitting screens on August 22, 2019. The film is loosely inspired from the real life incidents; where a coach struggles and strives to get his women Kabbadi team achieve success in the tournament. The film has musical score by D Imman and cinematography handled by R.B. Gurudev.
