Buzz is that Mani Ratnam has approached actress Keerthy Suresh to play the lead in his dream project Ponniyin Selvan. Sources say that Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Vikram are finalized to play the three main characters in the film. Once the rest of the cast and budget get finalized, Mani Ratnam will be formally announcing the project.
Interestingly AR Rahman is scoring the music. Sources say the movie would be made in Tamil and Telugu. Maniratnam's last was Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which was again a multi-starrer.
