Actor and president of Makkal Needhi Maiam Kamal Haasan will launch the Pondicherry unit of the party Wednesday. Kamal Haasan will address partycadres in Eldams Road, Alwarpet office by 3.30 pm. Kamal will later address media persons after launching the same.
He launched the party at a public meeting in Madurai on 21 February last year. He also unveiled the party flag there. The flag is symbolised by six interlocked hands, meant to represent co-operation between the Southern states of India. He has been touring Tamilnadu and meeting people regularly.
