On the occasion of his birthday, Kamal Haasan had affirmed that there would be lots of promising announcements from the production house of Raj Kamal Films International. Apparently, here is the biggest announcement and that’s RKFI’s association with Hindi movie ‘83’. It will be releasing the Tamil version of this movie, which is about the Indian cricket team winning the 1983 world cup. The film has Ranveer Singh playing the role of Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone as his wife. Jiiva will be essaying the role of Krishnamachari Srikanth, who was the major cause of winning world cup in finals. The film will be presented by Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Films International in association with Y Not Studios Sashikanth.
