After crossing several roadblocks, Kalavani 2 is all set to hit the screens on 28 June. The movie has Vemal and Oviya playing the main leads. There was a legal tussle between the producers and distributors and they have now sorted it out. Earlier a case was filed against Vemal, director Sargunam and producer Singaravelan of Marina Pictures, by the distribution company Dhanalakshmi Pictures.
This caused the movie to be delayed. Hence Vemal is said to have stepped in and resolved the issue.Kalavani 2 is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Kalavani, a comedy flick. The movie was a big success and this prompted the makers to do a sequel.
