Jayam Ravi has been finding himself into the main league of stars in Kollywood with back to back hits. While his Adanga Maru was considered as one of the top grosser in 2018, this year isn’t an exception as ‘Comali’ has witnessed blockbuster success. While the actor is shooting for ‘Bhoomi’, a film based on sensitive issue of farming and another movie ‘Jana Gana Mana’, an espionage thriller directed by Ahmad, he has now joined the shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. The film will be featuring Jayam Ravi in the role of Arul Mozhi Varman, who is the main pillar in creating the empire of Chola Dynasty and later got rechristened as Raja Raja Chozhan 1.
Ponniyin Selvan has Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa Murali, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarathkumar, Prabhu and Jayaram in lead roles.
