IT raids are on at the offices and houses of several Kannada film personalities since this morning. Premises of prominent actors including Punith Rajkumar, Sudeepand producer Rockline Venkatesh (who produced Rajini's Lingaa) are being raided. Raids are on at overt 50 places involving film personalities. A team of 300 IT officials are conducting searches. This is the first IT raid for the year in south film industry. KGF producer Yash house and office is also raided.
Rockline Venkatesh has produced many films in Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi. He is the founder and owner of the production and distribution company, RocklineEntertainments which has produced over twenty-five films as of 2012. In 2015 he co-produced Bajrangi Bhaijaan which earned the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Film Awards.
