Chennai: Officials of the Income-Tax Department on Thursday conducted raids at 31 places, including the premises of some people involved in real estate and dairy business in Tamilnadu, following complaints of tax evasion.
The raids, which began in the morning at Katpadi, Villuppuram and in some parts of Chennai, were continuing. The searches were conducted at the premises of at least four people involved in real estate and dairy business.
