ISRO's PSLV-C46/RISAT-2B mission success

The Indian Space Agency on Wednesday, using its trusted launch vehicle PSLV-C46, successfully launched the 300 kg RISAT-2B, an radar imaging earth observation satellite, that could sense or ‘observe’ earth in a special way from space day and night, rain or cloud.
After a 25-hour countdown, the home grown rocket lifted off majesticallyfrom the First Launch Pad as scheduled at 05:30 hrs, under grey skies.
