Maverick filmmaker Mani Rathnam is now rigorously involved with the pre-production phase of his upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
While the film’s shooting is expected to go on floors by next month, the lead artistes – Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Vikram are growing long hairs and putting on beefy look for their respective roles. While Atharvaa was reported of being a part of this film, there hasn’t been any update on his inclusion till now.
Meanwhile, it is said that the movie is tentatively scheduled for release in summer 2021. Although, the shooting of this film will be held at full swing, there are lots of processes involved in VFX and special effects.
Vikram’s portions for the film will be commencing from late March 2020.
