66 students from Tamil Nadu participated in this program. The show is broadcast live on Doordarshan and the Radio and Central Human Resources Department's YouTube Channel.
The circular was sent on behalf of the central government to arrange special arrangements for schools across India and for students to come and see the show. This is the state holiday on January 16 in Tamil Nadu, the day after the Pongal festival, which is celebrated as Tiruvalluvar Day.
That day, students were asked whether they should come to school and watch the Prime Minister's show. The school education department has explained that the Pongal holiday will not be canceled.
