Kamal Hassan recently floated Makkal Needhi Maiam and surprised everyone by contesting Lok Sabha elections. He managed a decent show fighting against DMK and AIADMK. When there were expectations that Kamal Haasan would bid bye to acting and concentrate on politics only, his recent moves have surprised many. He went ahead hosting Bigg Boss Tamil season 3. There were talks that his long-pending Indian 2 would be revived.
Amidst such scenario comes his production venture Kadaran Kondan starring Vikram. Meanwhile the actor has announced that he would start his political film Thalaivan Irukkindraan. It would have music by A R Rahman and produced jontly by Lyca International and Rajkamal Films International. His acts have surprised his fans. Though a few welcome his decision to do films, a section says why more cinema and less politics now.
They add, ' We thought he would be serious in politics. This is surprising. Does this mean, he has gone soft on politics'.We saw an alternative to Dravidian parties in Makkal Needhi Maiam But now he has himself taken him lightly. He can ride two horses at the same time'.He should concentrate more on politics. He has done lots of ground work. It should not go waste, they add.
