There has strong speculations that come general elections, the ruling AIADMK will ally with AIADMK in Tamilnadu. On many occasions, it has murmured that BJP has been operating in such a way to ensure the AIADMK government in Tamil gets benefited. Both the parties are not critical of each other on many occasions.
AIADMK maintains that it only for a strong relationship between the State government and Centre so that they can get maximum benefits for the State. But political observers see beyond that. They say, 'The AIADMK government survives even after 18 MLAs changed sides to AMMK were disqualified only thanks to the BJP.' Several complaints to Centre on alleged corruption in Tamilnadu have yielded no results. And both the AIAMDK and the BJP have been maintained a stoic silence when asked about any alliance. Remember it is alleged by Congress that AIADMK MPs are disrupting Lok Sabha only to help the BJP.
Even Union Ministers and senior leaders of the party have reportedly okay for an alliance with AIADMK. AIADMK on the other hand many say have no option but to ally with the AIADMK. One should see what stand BJP takes in Tiruvarur by-poll. It will be an indicator.
