IPL 2020: Kolkata Knight Riders beat Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have clashed in the 12th league match of IPL 2020 cricket which was played in UAE. While the match began with RR winning the toss and elected to field.

KKR started the match with opener Sunil Narine and Shubman Gill, Sunil was out by 15 runs and Nitish Rana came in but was out with a score of 22 with 46 runs. While Gills gave a fabulous play and scored 47 off 34 balls. Finally, KKR scored 174 for 6 in 20 overs with Morgan hitting 34 off 23 balls. 

In response RR, who had won the last 2 matches with Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab came with confidence winning the trophy. But the key players got out one by one like Steve Smith (3), Sanju Samson (8), Robin Uthappa (8), and Jos Buttler (21), While Rahul Diwatio gave his full effort in the last three overs was dismissed for 14 runs. Tom Karan of Rajasthan, who was in action in the last over, was unbeaten on 54 off 36 balls, including three sixes.

However, Rajasthan Royals lost 9 wickets at the end of 20 overs and scored only 137 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders beat Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs.
