I will live up to your faith: Rajinikanth

"The faith you have kept on me will never go waste", said Rajinikanth at Darbar Audio launch Saturday. He said, "I liked Ramana and wanted to work with Murugadoss then. I was busy doing Sivaji and he was working in Hindi remake of Ghajini. But things changed after Lingaa as I decided not to do younger roles anymore. However after Karthik Subbaraj showed me young in Petta and soon Murugadoss came up with Darbar script that was completed in a week.

After that all fell in place, adds Rajinikanth. Don't celebrate my birthday in a lavish manner. As usual I will be out of town on 12 December. Consider this audio launch event as my birthday celebration. This is a special birthday for me as I enter 70, added Rajinikanth.
