The city police arrested two persons for selling gutkha, a banned substance, from an auto, in Nungambakkam. The police found the duo selling it from an auto parked at College Road, Nungambakkam. On a tip-off, the police arrived at the spot and found Manoj Kumar (42) of Choolaimedu and Yesuraja of Perumbalur selling gutkha which was stored in the auto.
The police seized 10,000 sachets of gutkha, Rs 8,000 and the vehicle. The men have been arrested.
