HC allows Nalini to argue her parole plea case in person on July 5

The Madras High Court directed the Vellore Central Prison authorities to produce S Nalini, one of the seven life convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, to produce her on 7 July to argue her parole plea in person.When her plea, seeking parole (Ordinary leave) for six months to make arrangements for her daughter's marriage and also to argue the casein person, came up for hearing, a Division Bench comprising Justices M M Sundresh and M Nirmal Kumar directed the authorities to produceher before the court on 5 July.

During the hearing, the government and the prison authorities said Nalini was willing to argue her case in person.
