Hardik sizzles with bat, but Mumbai loses

Put into bat, KKR rode on Andre Russell's 40-ball 80 not out and half-centuries by Shubman Gill (76 off 45 balls) and Chris Lynn (54 off 29 balls) to post 232/2. In reply, Hardik Pandya was the sole shining light for MI with a swashbuckling 91 off 34 balls, his highest score in this format, as Mumbai managed 198/7 in 20 overs.

Pandya, who also smashed the fastest fifty of the season (off 17 balls), was at the receiving end of praise by many including cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh. Pandya hit nine sixers.
