Hard work always succeeds. Believe me. Actor Chiyaan Vikram is an example to it. Though he had been in Tamil cinema and searching for a break, he worked hard and patiently waited for one. And happened Sethu, thanks to Bala. From then on, there was no looking back for Vikram. Today he is one of the top actor in Tamil cinema with several hits under his belt. He has won seven Filmfare Awards as well as one National Film Award and Tamil Nadu State Film Award amongst other recognitions and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the People's University of Milan in May 2011.
Though he made his debut in 1990 with En Kadhal Kanmani, Sethu in 1999 changed his career. Dhill, Gemini, Dhool and Saamy were huge hits and he won large number of fans. His Pithamagan is rated the best till date by his fans. Anniyan, Kanthaswamy, Raavanan, Deiva Thirumagal among others are adored by all.
