Tamilnadu Hajj Committee president Abu Backer today called on actor-politician Rajinikanth at his residence in Poes Garden today and discussed about the controversial CAA that has been witnessing protests across the country.
Speaking to media persons after calling on Rajinikanth, Abu Backer said, 'We had a detailed discussion. He is a legend and he knows everything about CAA. There was no need for me to brief him in detail'.
Calling Rajinikanth as Superstar of the entire nation, he said, 'He gave a patient listening to me an expressed his desire that all should stand united'.
Abu Backer added, 'At a time when US President Trump visited India, violence broke out in Delhi. It has put us in shame in international media. We all should stand united and contribute for the development of the nation.'
