Governments in State and Centre should have same vision: EPS

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami came down heavily on DMK president MK Stalin during his campaign at Sivakasi, Aruppukottai and Virudhunagar. He wanted to know whether Stalin was the chief of DMK or the president of ‘Kangaroo court’. Palaniswami said it was necessary to form a stable government at the Centre. He was of the opinion that both the State and the Central governments should have identical vision and maintain good relationship.

Meanwhile, Palaniswami on Friday greeted Telugu and Kannada speaking people on the eve of Ugadi festival. Ugadi falls at the beginning of the Chaitra month of the Hindu calendar, coinciding with the arrival of the mango season. Symbolising it, a string of mango and neem leaves is hung to the frame of the main door or the door of the puja room. Oil bath, new clothes, offering prayers to the Gods are part of the celebration.
