Director Ponram has made aa name for himself churning out light-hearted rural entertainers starring Sivakarthikeyan. All the three films that he did Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, and Seema Raja were well-received. It also won Sivakarthikeyan a lot of fan base. The big news is that has Ponram will be directing Vijay Sethupathi next. Vijay Sethupathi is a busy bee acting in half-a-dozen movies. Interetsingly a majority of them are serious outings. Hence he has conciously chosen to do a comedy fare with Ponram.
Ponram had apparentrly narrated a village-based script to Vijay Sethupathi recently. He has agreed to do it, say sources. Vijay Sethupathi, who had Seethakathi released recently, played baddie in Rajinikanth's Petta. He has three films ready for release. He is also acting in a Telugu and a Malayalam movie.
