AIADMK's former Member of Parliament KC Palanisamy was arrested at Coimbatore early Saturday morning.
Palanisamy already stood expelled from the AIADMK on 2018.
He was expelled from the party for indulging in anti-party activity. He voted in favour of Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) no confidence motion against the Narendra Modi led NDA government.
