Filmmaker Mani Ratnam is currently involved in the making of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, which is produced at a whopping budget. The film an ensemble star-cast including Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu and many more prominent actors. Meanwhile, it is said that Mani Ratnam had approached Sathyaraj to play the role of Pazhuvettarayar, which happens to be a negative shade.
However, Sathyaraj politely refused to take up the offer citing that it doesn’t have so much of substantiality. It is really nice to see that Sathyaraj is so keen on not misusing the name he gained for his outstanding performance as ‘Kattappa’ in Baahubali franchise.
