Superstar Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar offered an extensively enjoyable festive occasion for Pongal 2019 with the release of Petta and Viswasam. Both the movies managed to make a decent sweep in box office with profitable results. Now it is said both the actors might have yet another clash together, this time for Diwali 2020.
If what we hear from the industry sources is believed to be true, Rajinikanth-Siva’s tentatively titled Thalaivar 168 and Ajith Kumar’s Valimai will be hitting screens for the same festival day next year. While Sun Pictures is producing Rajinikanth’s film, Valimai is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor of Bayview Project LLP, which had earlier produced by Ajith Kumar’s Nerkonda Paarvai.
Well, it’s too early to make any affirmations pertaining to the releases, but this is the current plan of both the production houses.
