Mani Ratnam has already started working on the second schedule of his upcoming magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. The film features an ensemble star-cast comprising of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Lekshmi and many others including Trisha.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s youngest daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth along with Eros International is making a web series on the same epic book ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Right now, the team is close on the heels of completing the pre-production works and very soon, it will go on floors with top league actors. It is learnt through the close sources that first season of this web series can expected in January 2021.
