Following his magnum opus ‘Petta’ with Superstar Rajinikanth, Karthik Subbaraj has now completed working on Dhanush’s next tentatively titled ‘Suruli’. The official announcement on the first look of this film will be made tomorrow (February 9).
Meanwhile, an inside source says that a particular scene in Petta had seemingly inspired Karthik Subbaraj to create a plot for Suruli. It is nothing but the scene where Rajinikanth sends Malavika Mohanan to Australia as an illegal immigrant. Suruli will be a film about such an instance, where a Tamil guy in London is seen too innocent, but he has a back story of being one of the dreaded roughneck in Madurai.
