Usually, we see Tamil movies taking scenes from Hollywood films and remaking it suit the taste of audiences here. But in a proud moment for Tamil cinema, Avengers director Joe Russo has stated that in Avengers: Age of Ultron, a scene was shot inspired by Shankar’s Enthiran that stars superstar Rajinikanth. Director Joe Russo who is here for the promotion of his film Avengers: Endgame, said that the scene in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Enthiran which has many small Kutti Chitti robots joining together to form a giant snake inspired director Joss Whedon who directed Avengers: Age of Ultron to have a climactic moment in which small Ultrons will join together to form a big one.
But unfortunately, it had to be cut off due to length issues. Avengers: Endgame also has another Tamilnadu/Kollywood connect. Mozart of Madras AR Rahman created an all-new anthem for the Avengers franchise in three languages – Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The Hindi version was released recently and has been received well.
