Eeswran Music Review

STR-Nidhi Agerwal starrer ‘Eeswaran’ album is finally out. The album has four songs. SS Thaman has composed music and Bharathiraja has played an important role.

Thamizhan Pattu Singers: Ananthu and Deepak Blue
Lyrics: Yugabharathi

Although the song boasts of good lyrics, Thaman misses to give a neat clarity to it. It’s been a million dollar question on why he uses a weird type of mixing that leaves noise dominate the sound of vocals and lyrics. Yes, the song will have its prominence with the visuals.

Eeswaran Title Song Singers: Deepak Blue, Aravind Srinivas
Lyrics: Yugabharathi

The song is nothing but a repetition of what SS Thaman has been doing so far. However, the fast beat rhythm assures that there is something special from STR with dance. However, it gives an impression that it could be a montage number. The lyrics don’t get a proper importance. Maybe, the visuals will bring up some clarity.

Mangalyam Singers: Silambarasan TR, Roshini

The song is simple yet has the ability to gain our attention. Roshini does a good work by giving her best in to the pronunciation of syllable in perfect way. Silambarasan TR as usual comes up with his style. The beats are normal and SS Thaman could have avoided the computerized pattern of mixing.

Velli Nilavu Singer: ML Gayathri
Lyrics: Yugabharathi

If you are familiar with the term ‘Chalk and Cheese’, then Velli Nilavu is the cheese here. While most of the songs had noise elements, this one turns to be a decent one with the lyrics and vocalisms find a good sound clarity. More than all, the lyrics by Yugabharathi stands out to be an appealing one.
On the whole, ‘Eeswaran’ has songs that have a commercial film package. For now, it’s Velli Nilavu that steals our attention. The rest of the songs will preferably find a good scope with the visuals.

Verdict: A decent package of album
Rating: 2.5/5
