Does Trisha's movie inspired by Jayalalithaa's death?

Trisha plays the lead in a movie titled Paramapatham Vilayattu. Directed by Thirugnanam, it seems to be a politically charged thriller. The trailer shows an ailing leader of a political party admitted to a hospital. Trisha plays a doctor who treats the politician. She is forced by other politicians in the party to do certain ‘things’, but she refuses. We even get a scene in the trailer where someone instructs to turn off CCTV cameras in the hospital floor where the political leader is admitted.

The trailer has been shot in such a way to remind one of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s days at Apollo. Meanwhile, Trisha’s doctor character and her family is attacked by powerful forces. How she manages to escape seems to be the crux of the story. The trailer finishes off with a dialogue – Politics is a snake and ladder game. Paramapadham Vilaiyattu is produced by 24 HRS Productions. The film’s music is scored by Amrish.
