DMK MPs today met President Ram Nath Kovind and handed over the copies of the anti-CAA signature campaign that the party conducted in Tamilnadu. The team comprising of MPs T R Baalu, Kanimozhi and Vaiko met the President.
The anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) signature campaign by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and its allies have garnered more than two-crore signatures. DMK chief M K Stalin, as well as leaders of their allied parties, unveiled boxes of the collected signatures in front of the party headquarters in Chennai on Saturday. The signature petitions were addressed to President Ram Nath Kovind.
