During a debate in the Tamil Nadu Assembly today, a clash broke out between DMK MLA J. Anbazhagan and Home Minister S. P. Velumani. So, Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam decided to remove J. Anbazhagan from the Cabinet as he was unanimous in speaking to the Chief Minister.
At the same time, the Governor's speech was torn down and the seat of the Speaker was thrown out. Speaker Dhanapal said they were suspended because they behaved in such a way that it was not right.
Subsequently, MLA J. Anbazhagan left the premises. Later, he met with reporters and accused the ministers and the speaker of frequent interference in his speech.
