Thye DMK today staged a walk out and boycotted Governor Banwarilal Purohit's address to the State Assembly. Soon after the Governor rose to deliver his customary New Year address to the House, leader of the Opposition and DMK President M K Stalin sought to raise some issues. Stalin, along with his Party MLAs, were on their feet and tried to make some remarks, even as the Governor continued with his address.
Later, Stalin led his party MLAs out of the House and boycotted the address. DMK's allies, the Congress and the IUML also followed suit.
