DMK behind Kodanadu case: CM

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami hit back at DMK president M K Stalin on the Kodanadu estate case saying his ‘Amma’ government would order an enquiry based on the strong suspicions of the people on the DMK’s role in the estate murder case. The CM described the opposition party as an ‘Agmark’ certified corrupt party whose leader frequently disrupted Assembly proceedings. The Chief Minister spoke at more than 10 places in North Chennai and Perambur legislative constituencies with his campaign lasting for more than five hours.

He highlighted the achievements of the AIADMK government and appealed to the people to re-elect Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister to ensure the safety of India. “We have forged this mega alliance to ensure Narendra Modi returns as the Prime Minister. He alone can provide a strong and stable government at the Centre,” the CM said. A video has been doing its rounds on social media asking K.V. Sayan (37) and Valayar Manoj (42), both hailing from Thrissur and accused of dacoity and murder at former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's Kodanad Estate, to implicate Palaniswami, in the case.
