Filmmaker Cheran’s directorial journey has comprised of some of the best family entertainers. However, in the recent times, he hasn’t come across a single success. During the audio launch of his recent release ‘Thirumanam’, director Cheran had hinted that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing lead role in his movie. Now the news is officially confirmed by director Cheran, who is a part of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3.
During the last night telecast, he was asked to opine about the reason behind making into the Bigg Boss House in spite of already achieving a good success. Cheran replied saying, “My last success was Autograph and what followed next was a series of struggles to survive. Actually, Vijay Sethupathi and I decided to make a film. During this time, there was confusion whether I have to make it up for this show and it was Vijay Sethupathi who suggested me to be a part of this show as it’s been a long gap for me in the industry for nearly 4 years. So, he wanted to get my face familiar in all the houses, especially in the villages before we start working. This was the reason behind making into the show.”
