Actor Dhanush, who awaits the release of Pakkiri, the Tamil version of his international film The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, is eyeing to do a remake. Remember Hindi hit Andha Dhun. It is a a crime thriller film starring Ayushamnn Khurrana,Tabu, Radhika Apte and others. The movie was directed by Sriram Raghavan and it went on to become a super hit. Speaking to media persons during the promotions of Pakkiri, said, that he has plans to remake Andha Dhun.
He stated he has stopped signing remakes since 2008 but he would like to remake Andha Dhun and also revealed that he has started taking steps towards acquiring the rights of the film. Meanwhile Dhanush's mega project Asuran, directed by National award winning filmmaker Vettrimaran is almost complete. It has music by GV Prakash.
