The Thanjavur Corporation has pasted a demolition notice on a house owned by V K Sasikala, close aide of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The notice has been issued since the house is in dilapidated condition. According to sources, a team of officials led by Tahsildar Venkatesan pasted the notice, saying that the house was very old and damaged.
Sasikala is currently in Parapana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru, serving jail sentence in a disproportionate assets case.
