Constitution day of India

Constitution Day is being celebrated across the country to mark the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly on this day in 1949.

The Constitution Day was first celebrated in 2015 as a mark of tribute to India's first law minister Ambedkar, who played a vital role in drafting the Constitution.
And the day also celebrated as Law Day, marking the adoption of Constitution back in 1949.

Jammu and Kashmir will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26 for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 that ended the J&K Constitution that was in place since 1957.
