The Congress party on Tuesday removed the name of former Congress president late Sitaram Kesari from the list of the party presidents on its website. Kesari had served as the party president from 1996 to 1998 but the website names PV Narasimha Rao and Sonia Gandhi as the party presidents during the period from 1990-2018. After Rao stepped down as chief of the party in September 1996, Kesari was appointed as the new president.
