Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today ordered the release of water from Bhavanisagar dam from 2 February till 31 May. A press release said this water will be useful for the irrigation of 24,504 acres of agricultural land in Erode district.The release asked the farmers to utilise the water without wastage and yield good returns and with proper water management.
