CM EPS launches new Television channel
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today inaugurated the Tamilnadu Government’s education channel- ‘Kalvi Tholaikkatchi’ at Anna Centuary Library, Kotturpuram. The content will include shows aimed at school children, besides those on jobs and related issues. ”Students can now learn from home,” School Education Minister K.A Sengkottaiyan said at the launch event.There will be a total of 32 programmes from 6 am to 9 pm. The duration of every programme will be half-an-hour.
The Department of School Education and Tamilnadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation started the TAC TV channel with exclusive educational content for school children. The cable connection will be provided to 53,000 government and government-aided schools in Tamilnadu.
