Maverick filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon didn’t have a big time in the recent years. With his long awaited Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Dhruva Natchathiram still wedged between some issues, we come across a interesting news about him. The director is almost done with the pre-production phase for this film and is reportedly roping Dr. Ishari K Ganesh’s nephew-actor Varun in lead role.
It is said to be the remake of Telugu movie Pelli Choopulu that starred Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma in lead roles. Initially, Vishnu Vishal and Tamannaah were roped in for the lead characters. However, the film didn’t take off due to some reasons. It is not yet known whether Gautham Vasudev Menon will direct this film or just produce it.
